Two Men Arrested For Alleged Terror Plot Against NYC Synagogues

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) –  Less than two weeks after the death of Osama bin Laden, authorities arrested two men allegedly plotting a terror attack within the five boroughs.

The two men are described as U.S. citizens of Algerian and Moroccan descent and are reported to be identified as Mohammad Mamdouh and Algerian Ahmed Serhani. They were arrested late Wednesday night.

One of the suspects, sources tell CBS 2 News, is in his 20′s and lives in Queens.
